Brighton vs Huddersfield Live Stream Predictions & Betting Tips, Match Previews

Surprise leaders Huddersfield face a tough trip to Brighton in the Championship this Tuesday.

Huddersfield are 4 points clear at the top of the Championship after a stunning start to the season and as such they will retain top spot whatever happens here. All their wins have been by a single goal with their 1-0 win at Elland Road on Saturday the latest in a series of fine away performances. They’ve already won at St James’ Park and drawn at Villa Park this season so a trip to promotion hopefuls Brighton shouldn’t faze them. They’ve always had a goal in them under David Wagner but seem to be defending much better this term with their last two wins both by 1-0 margins.

This might just be a good time to be heading to Brighton who have lost their last two games. They were only beaten 5 times in the league in all of last season so it’s not something they are used to and it’ll be interesting to see how they react to a surprise 2-0 home defeat against Brentford on Saturday. They were also beaten 2-0 at Newcastle just prior to the international break and will be well aware that this is going to be another tough game.

It’s too early to start calling Huddersfield promotion contenders even if they were to win this game but the way they are playing right now, you have to fancy them to get another result here. The pressure will be on the hosts and Huddersfield can play with a bit of freedom and the real confidence that an unbeaten start to the season brings.

Even last season Huddersfield were a useful side on the road and have lost just 5 of their last 15 Championship away games and with Brighton not on top of their game right now, backing Double Chance – Draw or Huddersfield at 19/20 looks to offer value here.

Head To Head
Brighton won the most recent meeting 2-1 on the South Coast but the previous 5 were all drawn.

Stats
Including the play-offs Brighton have won just 2 of their last 10 Championship games. Huddersfield have only lost 2 of their last 12 Championship games and none this season (5 wins, 1 draw).
