Backup goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarusanu and forward Maxwell Cornet both sidelined for this game, with no timescale on when they could return.
Youssouf Kone came out with an ankle problem, while Leo Dubois out for several weeks at least with a knee problem.
For Leipzig, Ibrahima Konate, Luan Candido and Tyler Adams all back in training and has an outside chance of returning for this fixture.
Kevin Kampl and Will Orban, on the other hand, has been sidelined with leg and knee injuries respectively.

Prediction
Lyon can advance to the last 16 if they draw and Zenit lost to Benfica, but the French side will target a victory that would see them finish first in Group G. In contrast, a defeat could see them knocked out of European competition altogether, so there is a lot at stake in the Parc OL. French side won the reverse fixture 2-0 and going out to do the double over RB Leipzig.
Since that defeat, RB Leipzig have lost just one of their last 12 in all competitions and are unbeaten in their last eight, winning seven. The Germans had been wrapped up a last-16 place, but will aim to finish first.
Lyon will go all out to secure the victory required here, which could play into the hands of the far side of this. An entertaining encounter in France is on the cards here.
