Team news
Atletico have two major injury doubts for the game, with captain Diego Godin and striker Diego Costa both doubtful as they were not in the squad for Saturday's league match at Leganes and neither trained on Sunday. Midfielder Koke also missed that game but could return.
Dortmund have injury doubts in defence, with Marcel Schmelzer set to be out and Abdou Diallo also doubtful.

Two weeks ago, Dortmund took apart Atletico on the counter-attack and the Germans are likely to approach the game in a similar way.
That is not the first time Dortmund have dismantled teams this season, though, and their goalscoring capacity has been extremely impressive with Lucian Favre's men netting in 14 of the 15 competitive matches they have played.
Meanwhile, Atleti have scored in 26 of their last 28 games at home in all competitions, and the potential loss of the out-of-form Diego Costa should not be too keenly felt.
