TEAM NEWS

DYNAMO DRESDEN

Dynamo Dresden had to settle for a goalless draw at Darmstadt 98 last Friday despite dominating the game, but they have only lost one of their last nine home league matches.

Coach Cristian Fiel points to a team that hasn't changed for the first time this season against Darmstadt so there may be some changes at the moment, although the three defenders must remain the same.

Last season's top scorer Moussa Kone wasn't even on the bench against Darmstadt, with the player recently signed with Alexander Jeremejeff who is currently the first choice.

Predicted lineup (3-4-3): Broll; Wahlqvist, Ehlers, Muller; Ebert, Nikolaou, Burnic, Lowe; Klingenburg, Jeremejeff, Atik

Not Available: Hartmann (Injured)

Doubtful:

ST. PAULI

St Pauli claimed their first league win in the campaign at home to Holstein Kiel on Monday night, relieving pressure on coach Jos Luhukay.

The signing of new loans James Lawrence and Matt Penney both started against Kiel but they suffered a mixed fate, with Lawrence scoring goals and Penney being sent off late.

Midfielders Rico Benatelli and Johannes Flum returned to action at the U23 match last weekend but will hope to be involved here, especially Benatelli who joined from Dresden in the summer.

Predicted lineup (3-4-1-2): Himmelmann; Lawrence, Kalla, Hoffmann; Miyaichi, Becker, Knoll, Buballa; Daehli; Conteh, Diamantakos

Not available: Ziereis (Injured), Veerman (injured), Tashchy (injured), Avevor (injured), Park Yi-Young (injured), Penney (suspended)

Doubtful: Zander (injured), Kord (injured), Benatelli (injured), Flum (injured), Ostigard (injured)

Prediction of Dynamo Dresden vs St. Pauli

The hosts came out on top in their last fight at home, and have felt defeat once in their last seven Bundesliga matches here.

It is also worth mentioning that Dresden has shown a far better performance in the previous three matches and has also scored four goals from the match itself while only conceding half of that amount.

The away side are without a win in their last three matches. In addition, St. Pauli has lost the tip in six of their eight previous visits to Dresden and has found the back of the net only twice in their last three trips here too.

Considering their poor performance on the road, Dynamo Dresden is the favorite to win this match.

However, you can calculate St. Pauli for swinging down, because the visitors have scored at least one goal in each of their last three away games, despite losing the victory. Given that four of the last five matches between the two sides here have also seen more than 2.5 goals on the score card, the high score clash is clearly in the calculation.
