Sean Johnson, Tony Rocha, Ronald Matarrita and Alexander Callens are away on international duty and will miss the match.

New England Revolution

Edgar Castillo remains out with a rib injury, while Teal Bunbury is out with a hamstring injury.

New York City FC vs New England Prediction

As of now, there might not be a better team in the conference on the basis of form. Also, with the toughest of obstacles for the current topper, this is the opportunity for New York to make the pinnacle position their own.

City won their last four games on the trot and was unbeaten in 14 of their previous 15 appearances at home. They had also won eight of the previous nine such fixtures and scored twice or more in seven of their last nine attempts here.

On the other hand, New England was winless in four of their previous five overall games, and in 19 of their 24 on the road.

With these stats in mind, count on the home team to deliver a classic win this weekend.

Portland Timbers vs Houston Dynamo Preview and Prediction USA – Major League Soccer Sunday, 23rd June 2019

Portland Timbers vs Houston Dynamo
USA – Major League Soccer
Date: Sunday, 23 June 2019
Kick-off at 04:00 UK/ 05:00 CET
Venue: Providence Park (Portland).

Which must be considered

Houston Dynamo (7-3-3, 24 points)

Dynamo suffered a defeat at the US Open Cup, but in MLS games, they only existed even though in the last six matches 2-2-2, which, although not bad, was below expectations of Coach Wilmer Cabrera and his team. I have provided the ranks they used against SKC to understand the formation used and personnel of Wilmer Carbra.

Despite the loss, the fan base seems to think that dungeon residents are ripe to vote. History is not on their side coming to Providence Park, the Dynamo are 1-1-5 for life in Portland, and have been surpassed by Timbers 15-9. So, historically they have a little hill to climb.

I suspect that Cabrera will be as close as possible to the first eleven choices possible, but with players missing due to the Copa America and the Gold Cup, there may be a slight rotation, but they lowered the younger mixed squad on Wednesday night. So don't expect too much, and there's no way they have the squad they have against Sporting Kansas City in their last MLS match.

The players to watch for are Tomas Martinez who came to you from number ten, he made everything run in midfield and had two goals and helped this season. The big scorer for Dynamo was Mauro Manotas he led the team with six, and in midfield Alberth Elis led a team of five helpers - but he left on international duty.

Portland Timbers (4-7-2, 14 points)

After an interesting replacement from Gio Savarese on Wednesday night, I am not sure what to expect for a lineup on Saturday. Not having Andy Polo has a slight obstacle in dizziness because it really can be used now, the same thing applies to Andres Flores. These are the players who played 90 Wednesday nights (not including Steve Clark): Claude Dielna, Jorge Moreira, Larrys Mabiala, Diego Chara, Jeremy Ebobisse, Sebastian Blanco (unable to play) and Brian Fernandez. Oh, and Christian Paredes went all but 90 minutes, taking 84 minutes before being replaced.

That's a lot of first choices starting at eleven that have a short break, one must. I suspect we will see a center-back pair from Cascante and Tuiloma. Zarek Valentin will most likely start for Moreira and can we see Marco Farfan starting from left back? It's in the realm of possibility, that's for sure.

Even though Diego Valeri got 12 minutes out (can anyone explain this to me? Up four, should remain on the bench) he will undoubtedly start in midfield, and he has a great success against the Dynamo. Mid defensive which makes me a little worried. I mean Diego Chara is a crazy person and I swear that some robots are sent from the future, but did you start with a short break? If this is another team, I say maybe not. But this is Dynamo; western conference enemy, and someone needs to help close the three fronts of Houston.

I am pretty sure that Gio will throw a coin before the first kick, or maybe even use an arrow board to choose which goalkeeper we will see between the pipes. Maybe it's Attinella, when Clark started midweek, at least that's my way of thinking. But this is the thought of Gio we're talking about, and I'm really not sure what happened there.

Portland Timbers vs. Houston Dynamo Head-to-head (h2h)

Nine of the last ten wins belonged to the team at home.
Seven of the last nine matches in this stadium made the hosts score two or more goals.
Six of the last seven meetings in this venue made the Timbers win.
Since 2012, Portland have scored in each of their home matches.

Portland Timbers vs. Houston Dynamo Prediction

The Timbers will be desperate to get down from the last place, and that will be easy because they really miss the total matches played. They are also unbeaten in seven of their last nine matches and won six of them too. At home, they have a more impressive record, with them remaining undefeated in ten of their last eleven attempts, and in 14 of their last 17.

Importantly, they scored two or more goals in 13 of their last 17 home matches, while the Dynamo have not won in five of their last seven matches, and lost in four of their last five matches on the road.

In addition, the home side recorded nine of the last ten wins and six of the last seven wins in this venue. Therefore, expect Portland to be the top on this Sunday.

Tips for the Portland Timbers vs. Houston Dynamo Bets

Portland Timbers Wins @ 1,70 (7/10)
Host to Open Score @ 1.50 (1/2).

Chicago Fire Team News

Real Salt Lake Team News

The hosts have no new injury concerns this weekend but Przemyslaw Frankowski, Aleksandar Katai and Djordje Mihailovic are on international duty.

Match Key

Pressure: Fire must strike since the first whistle, and for the full 90 minutes. They must take advantage of the bad RSL form and punch them in the jaw. One or two initial goals must build confidence and weaken the spirit of the RSL.

Play Defense: With that said, it won't work unless the defense can prevent and release pressure. At this point, we know what we are doing by surviving. The left side is a mess, without any real competent options there, you have to sort out your hopes and prey that the rest of the back line can maintain an emergency when you need it, and that violations and ownership occur. While for the right side, it is generally average. Johan Kappelhof has done as much as he can so far this year, and that side looks better than both of them this season. To win this game, the defense must do the task, and not blow the game. At least we don't rely on them to win the match.

Finish Opportunity: This has been a refrain from the grim song that has become the 2019 MLS season. The number of opportunities created for goals scored extraordinarily in low numbers. We know Fire can create opportunities, and we know that Fire cannot score. That must change if the Red Men want to get out of the wild in the near future.

LA Galaxy

Tips for FC betting vs Cincinnati vs Galaxy

Cincinnati's debut season in MLS did not go according to plan, because the hosts on Sunday occupied the last place in the Eastern Conference table and even a win would not lift them above New England's closest rivals this weekend. LA Galaxy visitors will hope to keep pressure on local rivals and LAFC league leaders with victory on Sunday, but nine points separating both clubs and Galaxy have a lot of work to do.

A goal of stopping solitary time from Fink proved enough for Saint Louis to knock their MLS guests Cincinnati from the US Open Cup on Thursday. More than 4,000 were present at World Wide Technology Soccer Park to watch the chaotic trophy, when Cincinnati's poor form was transferred from the league to the US Open Cup. LA Galaxy were also eliminated at the same stage as the hosts on Sunday when they were hammered 4-0 by Portland Timbers at Providence Park. An own goal from Kitchen made the ball roll for Portland in the twenty-eighth minute and two further goals before the break made the tie win before the halfway point. The hosts added a fourth goal eight minutes from time to wrap up a convincing win against a few big-name LA Galaxy teams like Ibrahimovic.

There is no head to head record between the two teams with this being their first meeting, but the form and appearance of the two clubs over the past few months shows that the LA Galaxy will win and there are good opportunities we will see the scores of both teams and more than 2.5 goal. Cincinnati have lost five of their last six matches in all competitions, while LA Galaxy have won three of their last five league and cup matches. Cincinnati have only won one of their last twelve matches in MLS, while LA Galaxy have won their last two away games in MLS. Both teams scored and more than 2.5 goals were produced in four of Cincinnati's last six matches, and that is why we expect a 3-1 win for LA Galaxy on Sunday.

Cruz, Manneh and Mattocks all scored the highest together for the hosts with their respective league goals so far this season, while with eleven goals, Ibrahimovic led for LA Galaxy and almost had many MLS goals in his name as the entire Cincinnati team put together . We believe LA Galaxy will win in Cincinnati this weekend and have estimated the final score 3-1. The visitors fly high in the Western Region while their guests sit under the Eastern Conference table and only win one of their last twelve league matches.
