Mallorca vs Villarreal Preview
Season Mallorca has developed a pretty clear trend in that their survival prospects will be highly dependent on the outcome of their homes. their failure to even take a point on the road is putting real pressure on them in a game like this, and they could do with another strong home showing against Villarreal team who hope to get into the top six.
The latest setback came to Mallorca last weekend and it was almost certainly show their worst of the season, as they surrendered a 3-0 defeat at Real Valladolid. Since it was a famous victory over Real Madrid, they have managed to collect only one point from three matches, all against a team that led struggled this season. It will be a real concern for Vicente Moreno whose team just two points outside the drop zone heading into this weekend.
Villarreal just two points from six and it increasingly looks like it is a realistic goal for the Yellow Submarine this season. There were improvements in the field on a lackluster showing in the 2018/19 campaign, especially in the final third with Gerard Moreno having netted eight times already in La Liga this time while Karl Shop Ekambi have 5.
Both men should begin here even though the latter is a minor doubt with a hamstring complaint. Mallorca lost while veteran midfielder Salva Sevilla suspension. It may look young duo of Aleix Febas Takefusa Kubo and early second. Both players obviously exciting talent but Mallorca will require them to mature quickly this season as they battle to beat the drop.

Real Mallorca are winless in their last three league games, drawing against Osasuna and lost on the road against Real Valladolid and Leganes.
At home, Mallorca are unbeaten in three, won twice and drawn once.
Villarreal is in the good run of form, losing only one of their last four at LaLiga.
